What manicure will look bad on short nails

Manicure is not just an aesthetic element, but also a way to emphasize the beauty of your hands. However, not all designs are equally suitable for nails of different lengths. Radiotrack writes about this.
Today we'll talk about what manicure to avoid if you have short nails:
French:
The classic French manicure, which looks so elegant on long nails, can visually shorten short nails. The white border "eats up" the already short length, making the hands look disproportionate.
Excess of details:
Do not overload short nails with complex patterns, rhinestones, and volumetric elements. It visually "clutters" the space, making the manicure look rough and disharmonious.
Horizontal stripes:
Horizontal stripes, be it ombre, geometry, or a colored tip, visually expand the nail plate, making the fingers shorter.
Light shades:
Delicate pastel colors, and nude and white varnishes can "merge" with the skin color, visually reducing the nails. For short nails, it is better to choose rich colors, deep shades, dark varnish, or classic red.
